We take the health and safety of our guests seriously. Our hearts go out to those impacted by COVID-19, and we have taken a series of precautionary steps in response.
We are taking additional measures and are following up-to-date guidance from the CDC as well as local and state health departments. Currently we are open and ready to serve you. There are many ways for you to enjoy Strathmore Bagels food including Take-Out (now offering Curbside Service), Catering and limited dine-in availability. We are following state and local dine-in requirements and are adjusting hours and operations as needed.
We are continuing our ongoing health and safety efforts. Measures include frequent and effective hand washing, enhanced cleaning and sanitizing all areas of our restaurant throughout the day and frequent cleaning of high-touch areas as well as ensuring no employees with visible or reported systems are working.
As we navigate this ever changing situation, we will continue to serve you. We will adapt our processes as guidelines dictate.

a little about us...
Our family of baking bagels dates back to 1905, when our great grandfather Jakob Frutchman, an immigrant from Austria, arrived on these shores at the age of 11. He started baking bagels in a basement on the lower east side of Manhattan and the rest, as they say, is history.
Four generations later, we’re still doing it Jakob’s way. Our mission is simple…we follow family tradition. We use only fresh and natural ingredients, no preservatives. We bake all of our bagels in a hearth stone oven. All of our salads are homemade and made daily. Our smoked fish is hand sliced the old fashioned way. Whether you dine with us, take out, or have us cater your next affair, we are dedicated to making you part of the Strathmore family.
